(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
