Nay, by the Moon 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 about the sinners. 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As if they were startled donkeys – 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
