O ye who believe! seek help with patient perseverance and prayer; for Allah is with those who patiently persevere. 153 Do not consider those who are slain for the cause of God to be dead. They are alive but you are unaware of them. 154 We shall certainly test you with fear and hunger, and loss of property, lives and crops. Give good news to those who endure with fortitude. 155 Who say when assailed by adversity: "Surely we are for God, and to Him we shall return." 156 On those will be prayers and mercy from their Lord, those are guided. 157 ۞ Surely the Safa and the Marwa are among the signs appointed by Allah; so whoever makes a pilgrimage to the House or pays a visit (to it), there is no blame on him if he goes round them both; and whoever does good spontaneously, then surely Allah is Grateful, Knowing. 158 Indeed those who hide the clear proofs and the guidance which We sent down, after We made it clear to mankind in the Book – upon them is the curse of Allah and the curse of those who curse. 159 Except those who repent and amend and make manifest (the truth), these it is to whom I turn (mercifully); and I am the Oft-returning (to mercy), the Merciful. 160 Those who deny the truth, and die as deniers, on them shall be the curse of God and of angels and of men altogether. 161 They will abide therein: Their penalty will not be lightened, nor will respite be their (lot). 162 Your Deity is Allah alone: there is no deity save the All-Beneficent and All-Merciful Allah. 163
