Al-Toor 2 of 2
Therefore proclaim thou the praises (of thy Lord): for by the Grace of thy Lord, thou art no (vulgar) soothsayer, nor art thou one possessed. 29 Or do they say, 'He is a poet for whom we await Fate's uncertainty'? 30 Say: 'Await! I shall be awaiting with you.' 31 Is it their minds that bid them [to take] this [attitude] - or are they [simply] people filled with overweening arrogance? 32 Or do they say: "He has fabricated it?" In fact, they will never believe. 33 Let them produce a discourse like it if they are true in their claim. 34 Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]? 35 [And] have they created the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no certainty of anything! 36 Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like? 37 Or do they have a ladder (climbing which) they can hear (the secrets of heaven)? Let one who has heard then bring a clear proof. 38 Or has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask a wage from them (for your preaching of Islamic Monotheism) so that they are burdened with a load of debt? 40 Do they possess knowledge of the unseen, so that they can write it down? 41 Or seek they to ensnare (the messenger)? But those who disbelieve, they are the ensnared! 42 Or do they have a god apart from God? He is too exalted for what they associate with Him! 43 If they should see a segment falling from the sky, they would say: "It is only a massive cloud." 44 Hence, leave them alone until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs, when they will be stricken with terror: 45 A day on which their scheming will not benefit them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 Await the judgement of your Lord, for you are always before Our eyes, and glorify your Lord with praises when you rise, 48 and extol His glory at night, and at the time when the stars retreat. 49

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
