(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 high above? 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
