Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 They know all that you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
