The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists), 1 created the human from a (blood) clot. 2 Recite: And thy Lord is the Most Generous, 3 Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)]. 4 taught the human what he did not know. 5 By no means: Verily man exorbitateth. 6 whenever he believes himself to be self-sufficient: 7 Surely! Unto your Lord is the return. 8 Seest thou one who forbids- 9 A servant when he prays? 10 What thinkest thou? If he were upon guidance 11 or bade to godfearing -- 12 Hast thou seen if he denieth (Allah's guidance) and is froward? 13 Does he not know that Allah sees? 14 Let him beware! If he does not desist, We will drag him by the forelock -- 15 a lying, sinful forelock. 16 So let him call his associates, 17 We shall call the guards of Hell. 18 Nay, pay thou no heed to him, but prostrate thyself [before God] and draw close [unto Him]! ۩ 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
