The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A flaming fire! 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
