Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 high above? 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 surely, Hell will be their refuge. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
