The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We will, We shall send down on them out of heaven a sign, so their necks will stay humbled to it. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
