And recite to them the tiding of Abraham 69 Behold, he said to his father and his people: "What worship ye?" 70 They said: We worship idols, and are ever devoted unto them. 71 Said he: "Do [you really think that] they hear you when you invoke them, 72 or benefit you or do you harm?" 73 They replied, "But we found our fathers doing the same." 74 He said: "Do you observe that which you have been worshipping, 75 you and those ancient forebears of yours? 76 Verily they are an enemy unto me, save the Lord of the worlds. 77 Who created me, and He doth guide me, 78 Who gives me food and drink, 79 and, whenever I am sick, heals me, 80 And He Who will cause me to die, then give me life; 81 “And the One Who, upon Whom I pin my hopes, will forgive me my mistakes on the Day of Judgement.” 82 My Lord, give me Judgment, and join me with the righteous, 83 And appoint for me an honourable mention among the posterity 84 “And make me among the inheritors of the Gardens of serenity.” 85 And forgive my father, verily he is of the erring; 86 and disgrace me not on the Day when people will be raised to life, 87 The Day whereon will profit neither substance nor sons. 88 Except him who brings to Allah a clean heart [clean from Shirk (polytheism) and Nifaq (hypocrisy)]. 89 "To the righteous, the Garden will be brought near, 90 and hell will be left open for the rebellious ones 91 "And it shall be said to them: 'Where are the (gods) ye worshipped- 92 Beside Allah? Can they succour you or succour themselves? 93 So they will be overturned into Hellfire, they and the deviators 94 and the army of satan will all be thrown headlong into hell. 95 They shall say, as they dispute there one with another, 96 "By God, we were most obviously astray 97 when we considered you equal to the Lord of the Universe. 98 And no one misguided us except the criminals. 99 And now we have none to intercede for us, 100 And not a devoted friend. 101 O that we might return again, and be among the believers!' 102 In this there is evidence (of the truth), but many of them do not have any faith. 103 surely, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
