Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
