Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 then he who transgressed 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
