Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken (to Himself) a son. 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 He has counted them and exactly numbered all; 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
