Al-Hijjr 4 of 6
Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 AND TELL THEM [once again] about Abraham's guests 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They (the angels) said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners). 58 excepting the folk of Lot; them we shall deliver 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
