SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 He said: Lo! thou art of those reprieved 80 for an appointed time". 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
