The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 who determined and guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
