The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 We have been promised this, and our fathers before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. 74 There is nothing of the hidden in the heavens and the earth that is not recorded in the luminous Book. 75 Surely this Qur'an explains to the Children of Israel most of the matters concerning which they have disagreements 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
