۞ O men, you are the ones that have need of God; He is the All-sufficient, the All-laudable. 15 If He wishes, He can remove you and put in your place a new creation. 16 that is surely no great matter for God. 17 And no burdened soul will carry another soul’s burden; and if a burdened soul calls another to share the burden, no one will carry any part of it, even if he is a close relative; O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), your warning only benefits those who fear their Lord without seeing and who keep the prayer established; and whoever cleansed himself, has cleansed for his own benefit; and towards Allah only is the return. 18 For [thus it is:] the blind and the seeing are not equal; 19 nor are darkness and light. 20 Nor the shade and the heat, 21 nor are the living and the dead equal. Allah makes to hear whosoever He will, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear. 22 You are but a warner, 23 We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner, there is no community to which a warner has not come. 24 And if they deny you - then already have those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture. 25 So We seized the unbelievers. How great was the change I wrought in their condition then! 26
