To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"? 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Rather, the Hour is their encounter. And that Hour will be most calamitous and bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 We have created everything in due measure; 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
