Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
