Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the winds (or angels or the Messengers of Allah) sent forth one after another. 1 storming tempestuously 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 for an appointed term? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40
