The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
