Lo! We verily do help Our messengers, and those who believe, in the life of the world and on the day when the witnesses arise, 51 The Day when no profit will it be to Wrong-doers to present their excuses, but they will (only) have the Curse and the Home of Misery. 52 And indeed, We bestowed aforetime [Our] guidance on Moses, and [thus] made the children of Israel heirs to the divine writ [revealed to him] 53 as a [means of] guidance and a reminder for those who were endowed with insight: 54 So be thou patient; surely God's promise is true. And ask forgiveness for thy sin, and proclaim the praise of thy Lord at evening and dawn. 55 Verily those who argue in the matter of God's revelations, without authority having reached them, have nothing but pride in their hearts, and they will not achieve their end. So take refuge in God: Surely He is all-hearing and all-seeing. 56 Indeed, the creation of heavens and earth is greater than the creation of mankind, yet most people do not know. 57 The blind and the sighted are not equal, just as those who believe and do good works and those who do evil are not equal: how seldom you reflect! 58 The Hour is coming, no doubt of it, but most men do not believe. 59 Your Lord has said, 'Call upon Me and I will answer you. Surely those who wax too proud to do Me service shall enter Gehenna utterly abject.' 60
