The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
