▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who lived in awe of the sublimity of his Lord, there will be two gardens -- 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 With spreading branches. 48 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 49 With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 53 (They shall) recline on couches lined with brocade, and the fruits of the Gardens will be near at hand. 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 who are as beautiful as rubies and pearls. 58 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 59 What is the reward of virtue except virtue (in return)? 60 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain beli? 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 67 With fruits in them, and dates and pomegranates -- 68 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 69 Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; 70 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 77 Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
