Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 who show off, 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
