The tribe of Thamud also rejected the messengers. 141 when their brother Salih said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 142 I am a trustworthy Messengers sent to you. 143 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 144 I do not ask any recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 145 “Will you be left peacefully in these favours over here?” 146 In gardens and fountains, 147 And corn-fields and palm-trees whereof the spathes are fine? 148 hewing out houses in the mountains and taking pride in your skill? 149 "Be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me, 150 And obey not the command of the extravagant. 151 who spread evil in the land with no reform." 152 They said, "You are only of those affected by magic. 153 You are a mere mortal like us. Show us a miracle if you are telling the Truth". 154 Replied he: "This she-camel shall have a share of water, and you shall have a share of water, on the days appointed [therefor]; 155 and do her no harm, lest suffering befall you on an awesome day!" 156 They slew the she-camel, but later became regretful 157 So the chastisement seized them. Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 158 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 159

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
