We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
