But he did not verify the Truth, nor did he observe Prayer; 31 But on the contrary, he rejected Truth and turned away! 32 Then he went back to his home in pride. 33 [And yet, O man, thine end comes hourly] nearer unto thee, and nearer 34 and ever nearer unto thee, and nearer! 35 Does man think that he is to be left to wander without an aim? 36 Was he not a sperm-drop spilled? 37 He then became a clot – so Allah created him, then made him proper. 38 From the human being, God made males and females in pairs. 39 Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead? 40
