It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give. 78 And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered. 79 It is He who revives and makes to die, and to Him belong the alternation of the night and the day. Will you not understand! 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say: "If you have knowledge, 'to whom belongs the earth' and, 'whoever is in it? '" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 They will say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not then fear Allah (believe in His Oneness, obey Him, believe in the Resurrection and Recompense for each and every good or bad deed)." 87 Say: 'In whose hand is the dominion of everything, protecting and Himself unprotected, if you have knowledge?' 88 They will say, "(It belongs) to Allah." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?" 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
