Say thou: O Mine bondmen who believe! fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world there is good: and Allah's earth is spacious. Verily the patient shall be paid in full their hire without reckoning. 10 Say, "I am commanded to worship God and be devoted to His religion 11 And I have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the Muslims." 12 Say: "If I disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of an evil Day." 13 Say: “Allah alone shall I serve, consecrating my devotion to Him. 14 as for yourselves, worship anything you please besides Him!" Say, "The real losers will be those who lose themselves and all their kith and kin on the Day of Resurrection. That is the [most] obvious loss. 15 They shall have coverings of Fire, above them and covering (of Fire) beneath them; with this Allah does frighten His slaves: "O My slaves, therefore fear Me!" 16 (On the other hand), good tidings await those who eschew serving false gods and penitently return to Allah. (O Prophet), give good tidings to My servants, 17 Who hearken unto the word and follow that which is the excellent thereof. These are they whom Allah hath guided, and those are men of understanding. 18 Can he against whom the sentence of punishment has been justified (be rescued)? Can you save him who is in the Fire? 19 But those who fear their Lord -- for them await lofty chambers, above which are built lofty chambers, underneath which rivers flow -- God's promise; God fails not the tryst. 20 Beholdest thou not that Allah sendeth down water from the heaven, and causeth it to enter springs in the earth, and thereafter produceth thereby corn various coloured. Thereafter it wirhereth, and thou beholdest it turn yellow; then He maketh it chaff. Verily herein is an admonition for men of understanding. 21
