The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful 1

All praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds, 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful; 3 Owner of the Day of Recompense. 4 You alone we worship, and to You alone turn for help. 5 Guide us in the straight path, 6 The path of those You have blessed, Not of those who have earned Your anger, nor those who have gone astray. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
