THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
