1/2 Hizb 46
< random >
Remember Our votary Job because he called to his Lord: "Satan has afflicted me with disease and distress." 41 Stamp the ground with thy foot, yonder is water to wash in, cool, and water to drink. 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 "Take a handful of herbs," (We said to him), and apply and rub them, and do not make a mistake." We found him patient in adversity, an excellent devotee, always turning in repentance. 44 AND CALL to mind Our servants Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, [all of them] endowed with inner strength and vision: 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 And indeed they are, to Us, among the chosen and outstanding. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding. 48 This is a Reminder, and indeed for the cautious is a fine return, 49 Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them. 50 They will be comfortably seated; reclining, they will call for abundant fruit and drink; 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 This is what you are promised for the day of reckoning. 53 Truly such will be Our Bounty (to you); it will never fail;- 54 All this (is for the God-fearing). But for the transgressors, an evil resort awaits them -- 55 Hell, wherein they roast: a wretched couch. 56 This is for the criminals so that they may taste it boiling hot water and pus. 57 And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds. 58 (Observing their followers advancing to Hell they will say, among themselves: “This is a troop rushing in to you. There is no welcome for them. They are destined to roast in the Fire.” 59 Their followers will say, "In fact, it is you who deserve condemnation. It was you who led us to hell, a terrible dwelling". 60 They will say: "O Lord, give him who has brought this upon us two times more the torment of Hell;" 61 And they will say: 'Why do we not see the men that we counted as being among the wicked in here? 62 Took we them so unjustly for a butt of mockery, or are they deluding our eyes? 63 All this is certainly true -- the inhabitants of the Fire will blame one another in this way. 64

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
