AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 Do not choose other gods besides Him. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you". 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
