Mention in the Book, Moses. He was devoted, a Messenger, and a Prophet. 51 We called him from the right slope of the Mount, and brought him nigh in communion. 52 And bestowed on him his brother Aaron, a prophet, through Our benevolence. 53 And recite in the Book the account of Ishmael. He was ever true to his promise, and was a Messenger, a Prophet. 54 And he used to enjoin on his family and his people As-Salat (the prayers) and the Zakat, and his Lord was pleased with him. 55 AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Idris. Behold, he was a man of truth, a prophet, 56 We granted him a high position. 57 These were the Prophets from the offspring of Adam, from those who embarked with Noah and from the offspring of Abraham and Israel. God guided them and chose them for His favor. Whenever they would hear the revelations of the Beneficent God they would bow down in prostration with tears. ۩ 58 ۞ But there came after them an evil generation, who neglected prayers and followed and sensual desires, so they win meet perdition, 59 except those who repent and believe and act righteously. Such shall enter Paradise and shall not be wronged at all. 60 Gardens Everlasting, which the Compassionate hath promised unto his bondmen, unseen; verily His promise is ever to be fulfilled. 61 They shall not hear therein (in Paradise) any Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk), but only Salam (salutations of peace). And they will have therein their sustenance, morning and afternoon. [See (V. 40:55)]. 62 Such is the Garden which We cause the devout among Our bondmen to inherit. 63 And we descend not except by the command of thy Lord: His is whatsoever is before us and whatsoever is behind us and whatsoever is in-between; and thy Lord is not a forgetter 64 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between. Serve Him, then, and be constant in serving Him. Do you know anyone that might be His compeer?" 65
