The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 and by the promised Day, 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 When they sat by it, 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 They took revenge on them only because they believed in the All-mighty, the Al-laudable, 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life). 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh, and of [the tribe of] Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
