۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 They are always harassing us. 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
