The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
