Al-Saaffaat 3 of 5
Noah called to Us; and how excellent were the Answerers! 75 We saved him and his people from the great distress, 76 And We preserved his descendants. 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 Peace be on Nuh among the worlds. 79 Thus indeed do we reward those who do right. 80 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ Abraham was on the self-same way (as Noah). 83 When he came to his Lord with a sound heart 84 and said to his father and his people: “Whom do you worship? 85 Why do you solicit false gods instead of God? 86 What then is your opinion of the Lord of the Worlds? 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 And he said: "Verily, I am sick (with plague. He did this trick to remain in their temple of idols to destroy them and not to accompany them to the pagan's feast)." 89 So they went away from him, turning back. 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 “What is the matter with you, that you do not say anything?” 92 And he turned upon them smiting them with his right hand. 93 And (his people) came toward him, hastening. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 They said: build for him a building and cast him into the flaming fire. 97 They plotted against him, but We brought humiliation upon them. 98 And he said: Lo! I am going unto my Lord Who will guide me. 99 (And he prayed:) "O Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled your dream." Thus do We reward the good. 105 Lo! that verily was a clear test. 106 And We ransomed him with a tremendous sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 That is how We recompense the righteous: 110 he was among Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
