Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And burning in hell. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
