The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 And what shall teach thee what is the night-star? 2 The very brightly shining star! 3 There is no soul but has a protector over it. 4 Let the human reflect of what he is created. 5 he was created of gushing water 6 Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. 7 God has certainly power to bring him back (from the dead). 8 On the Day when man's deepest secrets shall be put to the test 9 Then will he have no might nor any helper. 10 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), 11 and the earth, bursting forth with plants! 12 Indeed the Qur’an is a decisive Word. 13 not a flippant jest. 14 They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan, 15 And I (too) will make a scheme. 16 Therefore respite the unbelievers, and delay them for a while. 17
Almighty God's Truth.
