3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. 75 And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress. 76 and We made his offspring the survivors. 77 We left mention of him among later generations. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the nations. 79 Thus do We surely reward the doers of good. 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ AND, BEHOLD, of his persuasion was Abraham, too, 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 When he said to his father and his people: "What is this you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 What is then your idea about the Lord of the worlds? 87 And he cast a glance at the stars, 88 and said, "Verily, I am sick [at heart]!" 89 But they went away from him, turning their backs. 90 Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he started striking them down with his right hand. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 They said: "Build for him a building (it is said that the building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 They plotted against him, but We brought humiliation upon them. 98 Abraham said: “I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 Abraham prayed, "Lord, grant me a righteous son". 100 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. 101 And when (his son) was old enough to walk with him, (Abraham) said: O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice thee. So look, what thinkest thou? He said: O my father! Do that which thou art commanded. Allah willing, thou shalt find me of the steadfast. 102 When they had surrendered, and he flung him upon his brow, 103 And We called out to him: "O Abraham! 104 You have fulfilled your dream." Thus do We reward the good. 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty victim. 107 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 110 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 111 And We gave him the good news of Ishaq, a prophet among the good ones. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113
