And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Indeed it is Allah, Who is the Greatest Sustainer, the Strong, the Able. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
