And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
