The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 9
