The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
The Striking Calamity - 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
