Say, "Lord, if you will afflict them with punishment, 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 but those whose scales are light shall forfeit their souls and live in Gehenna (Hell) for ever. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 He who invokes any other god along with Allah " one for whom he has no evidence" his reckoning is with his Lord alone. Indeed, these unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
