Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
